ABUJA – Service Chiefs appointed by President Muhammad Buhari has been confirmed by the Senate on Tuesday.

After deliberations, Senate confirmed the following as Service Chiefs:

1 Maj. General Lucky Eluonye Irabor – Chief of Defence Staff

2 Maj.General Ibrahim Attahiru – Chief Of Army Staff

3 Rear Amiral Awwal Gambo – Chief of Naval Staff

4 Air Vice Marshal Isiaka Amao – Chief of Air Staff.

The Senate President, Ahmad Lawan charged the confirmed Service Chiefs to carry out their duty dilligently.
