Commissioner nominees screening, Ondo Assembly list tax clearance, academic certs. , others as conditions

Bamidele David Oleylogun, Speaker of Ondo State House of Assembly has issued a directive to commissioner nominees who are to appear before the Selection Committee of the House today.

Akogun Olugbenga Omole, Chairman, House Committee on Information, Youth and Sports Development made the disclosure in a statement on Sunday in Akure.

The statement reads “In a directive by the Speaker, Rt. Hon. Oleylogun Bamidele David, the nominees who are to appear before the Selection Committee of the House are enjoined to be present at the Speakers Conference Room by 12noon with the following documents:

i. three years tax clearance,

ii. original copies of all their academic qualifications,

iii. INEC voters card and other relevant documents.

The nominees are advised to relate with the Honourable Members from their various Local Governments for further briefing.

The Assembly is to commence the screening of Commissioner Nominees starting from Monday 29th November 2021.

According to Sunshine Truth, a letter containing the names of the nominees was forwarded to the House from the office of the Secretary to the State Government, Princess Oladunni Odu was read at Plenary last week.
