Donald Trump, the former president of the United States has announced his bid to return to the White House in 2024.
Former America’s number one spoke at his Florida estate on Tuesday night and said his bid to return to the White House was what America needed to bounce back from decline.
“America’s comeback starts right now,” he said.
“We are a nation in decline. For millions of Americans, the past two years under Joe Biden have been a time of pain, hardship, anxiety and despair. We have to save our country.”
Between 2017 and 2021, Mr Trump was the first US president to be impeached twice, and his harsh rhetorics, amid criticisms from top citizens of the country polarised US democracy during his tenure.
At the moment, Mr Trump is being targeted for multiple investigations into his conduct before, during and after his first term as president.
