The Senate has granted the request of the President, Bola Tinubu to appoint 20 special advisers.

The Senate has granted the request of the President, Bola Tinubu to appoint 20 special advisers.

Ahmad Lawan, president of the senate read Tinubu’s request letter during plenary on Tuesday.

The upper chamber of the national assembly granted the request.

Speaking Lawan said, “It is of utmost urgency” that the president has his team to work with.

“Because there is no name for special advisers we will just approve it from here. We feel that that this is something of utmost urgency.”

Tinubu in the request did not list the names of the 20 special advisers.
