Last week, DailyAgent reported that the organised labour is protesting the battering of the NLC President, Joe Ajaero, and some other executives of the congress in Owerri, Imo State, on November 1, as well as the pending labour issues in Imo State.

Observation by DailyAgent as of midday on Tuesday, all the entry gates into the National Assembly complex were under lock and key.

Many workers who left their homes to resume work were seen stranded at the entrance of the complex.
