Egbuwalo becomes acting CEO of NSIPA as FG suspends Halima

President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of Dr. Akindele Egbuwalo as the acting National Coordinator and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the National Social Investment Program Agency (NSIPA).

President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of Dr. Akindele Egbuwalo as the acting National Coordinator and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the National Social Investment Program Agency (NSIPA).

This followed the immediate suspension and investigation of Ms Halima Shehu, the National Coordinator and CEO of the National Social Investment Program Agency over alleged financial malfeasance, according to Channels TV.

Egbuwalo until his appointment was the National Program Manager of N-POWER.

Ms Halima’s suspension came about three months after the confirmation of her appointment by the Senate.
