Idris Okuneye (Bobrisky), a popular crossdresser has been released after months in prison.
Recall that the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) had on April 5 secured the conviction of Bobrisky for mutilating the country’s currency, naira notes.
Okuneye was charged by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on four counts bordering on naira abuse.
During the court hearing, Okuneye pleaded guilty before Justice A.O. Awogboro of the Federal High Court, Lagos.
Bobrisky was released on Monday, August 5, 2024.
In a video with friends, he was seen vibrating to Mohbad’s and Chike’s Egwu songs.
His friends were quoted saying, ‘We are out of prison. Congratulation Bobrisky.”
