EXPOSED: How Buhari’s agric minister allegedly awarded 30m mosque on public funds

ABUJA – A document going round the internet has exposed the current Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Sabo Nanono, who allegedly awarded 30 million naira to build a Friday mosque in Abuja.

Nanono had awarded the contract at the ministerial tenders border 7th meeting held in December, 2020 in Abuja to El-Shuhkur Multi-Buz Nig. Ltd base in Bauchi State.

In the letter of award of the contract signed by the deputy director of procurement, Musa A. Musa had gave a 3 -day ultimatum to the contractor to produce the receipt of the offer letter, acceptance, and also the price variation of items purchased.

“it is also expected that the contract will be executed in strict compliance with the BOO/ specifications and in line with relevant clauses and document bidding and contract agreement.” he stated.

Meanwhile, TECHNOCRAT MEDIA through its Follow The Projects initiative had sent a freedom of information request to obtain official details about the alleged project which is expected to be attended to within seven days.
