Gunmen suspected to be armed bandits have again attacked Gidan train station along the Abuja-Kaduna railway.

According to Sahara Reporters, the terrorists planted IEDs on the tracks, forcing a train heading to Abuja from Kaduna to stop.

This is the second attack within 24 hours along the same axis.

The media had reported how terrorists on Monday night bombed the Abuja-Kaduna rail tracks and attacked a train filled with passengers.

At the moment, eight persons have been confirmed dead in the attack with many kidnapped and their whereabouts are unknown.

This comes a few hours after another set of terrorists killed six soldiers from Zuma barracks, Suleja, Niger State.
