Meanwhile, elections in four wards were canceled in the just concluded Local Government elections in Ondo state.
Announcing the results, Ondo State Independent Electoral Commission Chairman, Prof. Yomi Dinakin said election for the Councilorship position in four wards have been canceled due to anti-election activities.
The wards are Akoko South West ward 13 where the “returning officer was seized”, Akoko ward 9, Igbaraoke ward 1 in Ifedore Local Government, and Ward 6 Akure North Local Government, where election violence was recorded.
